About The Author : Colleen Hoover is an American author who primarily writes novels in the romance and young adult fiction genres. She is best known for her 2016 romance novel It Ends with Us. Many of her works were self-published before being picked up by a publishing house. Hoover sold about 20 million books as of October 2022 1 Verity (2018): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ it is a page-turning and very captivating psychological thriller. I assumed most of her books are loved by hopeless romantics, not usually my cup of tea – but I felt as though this book had a perfect balance of romantic scenes, erotic scenes, and just plain, great thriller/suspenseful moments. I was hooked from the first page, and finished Verity in less than 24 hours. The cherry on top really came at the end.
